Those quotes from Michele make me laugh. What a bunch of nonsensical bumph! I mean: “All that inspires me and all that I quote, whether it is one day or four hundred years old, occurs at the same time before my eyes, so it becomes the present. It’s my present, my time and it’s the only thing that I can and want to describe.” WTF?! Word salad gone wild.
Other than Rockstud, does Valentino even have a handbag line (and I love Rockstud but are people still buying it? Or just wearing it since they have it?)
I also love Jenna Lyons, but even she wasn't enough to keep me watching RHONY. The fights were too fake, and I did get the feeling Jenna felt herself to be on a different level than the other ladies (because she is!) I will try again this season. I wish I had known when she had her interior design show, because I would have watched it.
his comment about making your career a prosthetic really made me stop in my tracks. What a great metaphor. He has a way of expressing himself verbally that is as layered and embellished as his designs. Not for everyone (based on the comments, I guess) but very moving and illustrative to many--including me.
I'm sorry, these kinds of sound bites are just nonsense. They are said by people trying to sound intellectually superior, and make the listener feels like they're just not smart enough to understand. But in reality, they say nothing at all. So pretentious! :)
Bedford Media makes me think of The Hundred from Succession.

“anodyne” is SUCH a great word...
