NFT's in Fashion will fizzle out much like Periscope. People want to own a bag and wear it. Not hang it on the wall or whatever it is. I agree with Bernard Arnault's assessment-though I'm still angry about the ageist Tiffany's ads.

I'm wondering with a lot of older people like myself on IG that it might last longer as we're all so exhausted by the new thing. I still love the old things. And not ready to give up on it. I still love magazines and I also like being able to combine with the immediacy of IG. My audience is 35-44 with 45-54 behind that. I even have 55-64...who all appear to relate to the content I present on IG. It's fun, educational, factual with really nice pictures. I have always said the one area fashion companies have abandoned and forgotten are us. Which is a pity because they could rev up their revenue focusing on those of us with our grey hair, droopy boobs and curvy derriere's. We keep the families together. Adopt dogs, dress our population, fill the cabinets with QTIPS, Cheerios and soup. We pay the cellphone bills and make sure the house has the WIFI running. Hmmmmmm...

You're right, Sasha. Arnault even said in that meeting: "It’s not just a fashion company. It’s a culturally creative company that reaches a very important customer base in Gen Z." Fashion does look to youth like many many marketers. And despite some progress being made in terms of diversity, ageism is alive and well in the industry (which was especially apparent to me when I did all those interviews about Anna Wintour for my book; Anna is 72).
