The fashion just seems boring this season, even the OTT pieces mainly just strike me as picked for shock value vs. making sense in the context of the characters. In short, I miss Patricia Field.
I kinda loved the touch of Harry being a Rihanna stan...the way he pronounced her name is how she herself does. Harry is in the Navy and I'm living for it.
Seema's boyfriend was the Prada Guy from season 5/6! Not that I'm complaining but...were there no other actors available so they had to use a retread? Lol
It tracks to me that Carrie would have been to the Met Gala before: she's supposed to be this A-List New York Fashion Girl who is now a gazillionaire. Plus, she wrote for Vogue once upon a time!
God this show is breaking my heart. I ended up writing a whole post today about all the things that I think are wrong with it… And I didn’t even get around to the fashion!
