FWIW I really appreciated what Sophia Bush was trying to do. Tulsa's an extraordinarily significant city for civil rights and her photos actually managed to show way more of Tulsa and the community organizers she works with than the wedding, which was unusual for Vogue, and the amount of detail she provided really did seem like a quid pro quo in exchange for coverage of the social justice stuff!
I went down a Vogue weddings rabbit role yesterday when I saw a VF article about Audrey Gelman's new 'venture' written by Emily Jane Fox. I was thinking there's no way Audrey gets an article unless there's a personal connection and sure enough Emily's wedding was featured in Vogue and she's married to the writer/producer of WeCrashed.

I couldn’t look away from sophia bush’s vogue gallery the other day; the try-hard vibe was just compelling.
